Welcome US students to Tan Tao University (TTU) for exchange

The delegation of US students had a visit at TTU on the morning of December 2nd. At the same day, TTU students had an opportunity to listen about US educational experiences from sharing of US students by a seminar. This is part of the international cooperation plan between TTU and the United States.

Participation in the exchange includes  12 US students from different states such as Maryland, Washington DC, Washington State, Oregon, Michigan, California, Hawaii, New York, Texas and Massachusetts and their teachers. Welcome to the delegation, there are the presences  of Dr. Michael Loc Pham – Vice Principal of the school, Mr. Jonathan Lankford –  Associate Registrar, Mr. Robert Goldberg – Lecturer in Humanities, Mr. Duong Hoai An – Deputy Director of Students Department, TTU students and students from Talent High School belongs to TTU.

After the solemn reception at the Gillis Hall, the administrators of TTU had a meeting to talk and chat with the delegation. After that, the delegation of the United States was guided by TTU students to visit the campus of Tan Tao University, Gillis Building, Levy building, museum of ceramics, library, etc. A series of questions from US students about  school establishment, the application of American liberal education in Vietnam, student life, etc were taken place during the visit to express their special interest to TTU.

Attending Anatomage Table – TTU is the only universityl in Vietnam and the second in the ASEAN region is equipped with state-of-the-art teaching equipment.

At the end of the campus visit, US students are invited to participate in discussions on US and Vietnamese educational experiences, as well as their expectations in the higher education system and future career orientation.
